Nathalie Opris translates narratives into vivid physical and digital visitor experiences. Her pragmatic yet intuitive approach considers site-specific factors, such as material availability and logistics. Her research-based approach aims to push the boundaries of exhibition design, making knowledge tangible for broad audiences.
Designing in close collaboration with curators, Nathalie makes sure exhibition narratives come across clearly, subtly underlined by hints at visual and haptic phenomena related to the given topic. By means of abstraction Nathalie’s spatial designs are poetic visual gestures that guide the look, communicate a feeling and create atmospheres. Lighting is a crucial factor for the perception of an exhibition. By utilizing a detailed lighting design and setup, an exhibition can set the right tone and usher visitors’ attention easily and intuitively.
Valuable or fragile objects and artifacts deserve a mindful handling when displayed in public exhibitions and Nathalie has experience developing thoughtful solutions. She has developed digital display solutions, which offer an augmented & guaranteed damage-free presentation form for sensitive analogue exhibits, such as ancient books or artworks.
As our physical and digital world successively merge into one, media technology is an indispensable element of most contemporary exhibitions. The efficient, but impactful design and development of projections, video mapping, interactive and online elements, is what sets Nathalie’s profile apart. She is aware of current trends in media technology and has expertise in a wide range of innovative digital programs, and can therefore naturally embed these into projects where suitable.

Nathalie Opris turns research into in-depth narratives, curating content and artifacts with purpose. Every story is crafted for clarity, value-driven social impact, and a gripping visitor experience.
Targeted towards creating exhibitions and spatial experiences, Nathalie’s methodical research process takes on showcasing the relevant and underrepresented voices, hidden heroes and heroines of a discourse and crafting a captivating storyline around them: Easy to follow for any type of visitor, media-enhanced and powerful.
Simultaneous layers of a story can thereby unfold in space, offering rich content for visitors of various ages, interests and backgrounds. By carefully balancing out traditional display methods with digital exhibits, Nathalie envisions stimulating parcours through each show she curates.
Nathalie’s network of specialists, institutions and collaborators has grown around the large range of topics in past projects. This enables her to access exciting pools of information and uncover the most fascinating content for each show.
Curatorial topics Nathalie has worked on in the past include: design & fabrication, media and light art, fine arts, social and political topics, everyday culture, sports, science and technology.

The story of each brand is unique.
When considering the physical spaces in which these stories unfold, it is essential to identify their most impactful elements.
Nathalie shapes clients’ spatial experiences by appealing to the human desire for physical stimuli – sight, touch, sound, scent – and seamlessly connecting those to your brand’s digital appearance. Nathalie’s spatial design builds bridges between the physical world and the digital channels of your brand, creating a thorough and coherent brand experience.
A well-designed space draws customers in, immersing them in an atmosphere that feels both compelling and natural.
